Listening and Speaking Proficiency: Engaging activities like Thematic Songs and Tongue Twisters encourage active participation and reinforce learning. Conversation practice enhances communication skills and builds confidence in using Mandarin.

Literary and Cultural Exploration: Students explore Tang poetry, fables, and idioms to enrich language ability and deepen their appreciation of Chinese culture.

Smooth Transition to Primary 1: Our program establishes a strong foundation in language and literacy skills, ensuring a seamless transition to Primary 1.

Character Recognition and Writing Proficiency: We focus on strengthening students’ capacity to recognize, read, and write Chinese characters and Hanyu Pinyin, aligning with the requirements of the P1 Chinese syllabus.

Early Exposure to P1 Curriculum: Students gain a head start by being exposed to the P1 Chinese curriculum, including orientation to formal education aspects such as spelling (听写) and “Show and Tell” activities.

Still Have Unanswered Questions?

At Hua Sheng Learning Centre, we embrace the concept of small class teaching, which means that our classes typically accommodate approximately 10 to 12 students. The specific number of students in each class is determined based on the available classroom space.

Assignments are primarily completed during our class sessions. In cases where the weekly workload becomes substantial, teachers may assign a portion of multiple-choice questions as homework. Composition and comprehension tasks are tackled during class time. Following grading, teachers review the worksheets with the class in the subsequent week. At home, students are encouraged to review their oral notes, practice spelling and dictation, and address any corrections from previous worksheets.
